Cookie compliance and secure certificates
We have now started implementing changes to PracticeWEB sites following the change in the law on cookies.
So what can you expect?
» If we haven't already contacted you, we will shortly be sending you an email asking you to change your A records. Once this has been done, we can add the secure certificate to your site. So when visitors to your site are in the secure areas, registration, profile, login and admin areas, they will no longer see a URL that contains securelogin.co.uk. Instead, the URL will be in the format https://www.yourdomainname.co.uk eg https://www.adderwhite.co.uk/user/login
» Under the revised Regulations on cookies, you must not only provide clear information about the cookies but also obtain consent from users or subscribers to store a cookie on their device. We will be writing to you shortly to ask if you would like your site to display a question asking "Can we save cookies on your computer?"

We have created a cookies information page where you can read information on the requirements of the legislation and secure certificates.
