Accountex: win stuff, heckle! What more could you want?

It’s that time of the year again, Accountex is coming!

Team PracticeWEB will be out in force for the 2018 Accountex London. Looking forward to chatting with some new faces and catching up with the not quite so new. Definitely not looking forward to the DLR and the price of beer at the Fox, but we’ll cope, we’re a resilient bunch us PWEB’ers.

We’ll be taking up position with our good friends AccountingWEB on stand 670. There will be lots of cool stuff going on. The AccountingWEB team will have their mobile TV studio on site, doing video interviews with the great and the good over the two days.

Not be outdone by our Accounting publishing brethren, here at PWEB we have something a little special planned for this year.

To celebrate our move to WordPress, we are going to offer one lucky person a free website. Yep you heard that right.

Come and see us over the two days, have your badge scanned and at 4pm on the second day we will announce the winner.

For the winner we will build them a beautiful starter level WordPress and throw in a bunch of useful things into the build AND include 2 years of hosting, updates and client support. All in more than £6,000 of free goodness. That’s got to be worth stopping by to say Hello.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, get your rotten tomatoes at the ready. On day 1, Wednesday 23rd March in the Sales & Marketing theatre, I am hosting a session entitled ‘Be the fly fisher, not trawler – the easy way to catch your next client.’ A 45 minute tour de force featuring 3 real business owners and their answers to the questions of what they want, and what they get, from their accountants. Hecklers welcomed.

All in all a busy couple of days, with probably just about enough time for a quick half in the Fox before heading back to Bristol.

Accountex is 23rd and 24th of May at the Excel in London. It’s free to attend, it’s huge, register to be there here. Hope to see you there!
